<p>You’re asking two separate questions. The Waitlist is a set of students who, after April 1, have NOT been admitted but instead offered a spot on the waitlist – in case any of the 1250 openings isn’t filled by the 1900 or so admitees.</p>
<p>As for deferred SCEA applicants being offered a spot during the RD round, there are plenty of other threads discussing this. A quick search will get you some info. Basic answer is YES, some get an offer, some get rejected. The numbers aren’t super (nor are they for anyone). Good luck however.</p>
