out of 6000 duke undergraduate students, how many of those in Pratt and Trinity ?

many thanks

about 300 per year, so 1200 in pratt, 4800 in trinity.

Senator Noodles,

thanks a lot.

nsrjsyt

About 300 enter pratt every year, but by the end of sophomore year, the number usually drops to 250 or so.

Given an entering class of about 1600, that’s about 6400 undergrads in total, 1000-1100 in pratt, and 5300-5400 in trinity.

SBR,

many thanks;

BTW, how many duke freshman students in pre-med track?

I don’t know about the number of freshman premed students, but given Duke’s premed reputation it must be a significant portion of the entering class. By senior year, that number narrows down; there were 272 seniors that matriculated to medical school last year, so about 300 premed seniors.

metb29,

thanks. probably there could be 500-600 pre med students in freshman every year.

thanks again

about 30% of the entering freshman class is premed, but after genchem/ochem, a lot decide that medicine is not their calling lOL.
