I took it the first time, did alright, and got a 1960. I think I can do better but I want to know if colleges look down on people that take it two, or maybe even three times? Does it affect their application significantly? Thank you

The general rule of thumb is: 2 = alright 3 = too much.

i took it three times, and i increased over a hundred points every time… id say retake it if u think it will be worth

Some people’s scores actually decrease if they take it too many times.

This is a FAQ.

Bottom line: don’t worry about it. Prepare well, and aim for a competitive score for your target college.
