<p>I decided to take the SAT in December and would like to ask how many vocabulary words i should know before the exam, perhaps around 600-700 words?

<p>As many as you can learn. Of course, if you know the entire dictionary stone cold, you don’t have to learn any words. However it does help to know Greek/Latin roots and their meanings so that some words (e.g. euphonious) are easy to remember.</p>
