“Take our 14 item quiz and we’ll tell you how ‘Millennial’ you are, on a scale from 0 to 100, by comparing your answers with those of respondents to a scientific nationwide survey. You can also find out how you stack up against others your age.” [Pew Research Center quiz]

This was kind of a fun quiz. I’m a 48. Although technically a Baby Boomer, I’m at the tail end of that age range. I suspect being the parent to two Millennials pushes me closer to that score.

It’s disturbing that 14% of boomers and 26% of the silent generation think interracial marriage is a bad thing for society.

It also seems that the Pew Quiz should have asked how many messages a person received from all apps, not just SMS, in a day. IMO that’s a much better way of differentiating the Millennials from other age groups.

Not surprising though. Remember that interracial marriage wasn’t even legalized nationally until the boomers were alive and many were well into their teens.

I’ll get a much different % if I take this quiz tomorrow. The last 24 hours are skewed as I don’t watch TV during the week (no time) and I read the newspaper for work lol.

Well the quiz was accurate for me. 92% millennial.

I didn’t realize how broad the definition of a millenial was. Really, my brother who was born in 2000 (the last year of our generation) cannot relate to any of the cultural touchstones that defined the childhood and adolescence of those born in the early '80s.

The survey makes no sense. It says that only 11 percent of the silent majority’s parents were married most of the time while they were growing up. It says 37 percent for millinnials. I don’t think that is correct.
