How much additional info is too much?

Hi, so today my parents came home from a parent teacher conference, and my physics teacher basically told them wanted to write a rec for me (basically i’m doing very well and have a 100 avg, blah blah blah). The thing is I already have 2 teacher recs (math and english teacher from junior year) and I got my FDA employer (i had an internship over the summer) to write a rec as well. So if I let him write me a rec that will be FOUR letters of rec sent to colleges. the thing is, i want to major in engineering so physics is really important. also im sending an activity list (a few sentrences about each activity). i dont want to overwhelm adcoms. what do i do?

Cliffs:
-have 2 teachers and one employer writing recs for me
-today my physics teacher tells my parents he wants to write me a superb rec for college b/c im doing so well
-want to major in engineering
-am sending a 2 pg activity list as well
-dont want to overwhelm adcoms with unnnessesary info
-SHOULD I TAKE THE REC?

Talk to your GC. Ask if he/she thinks the physics teacher’s rec will be stronger than the Jr. year math teacher (sometimes, teachers’ rec writing abilities are better than others). See what GC says – then use the English and EITHER the Physics or Math – not all three .

I’d SERIOUSLY chop the 2 pp activity list – that’s way too long. Go to one page, resume style
