<p>How much financial aid do you think I could get at a place like NYU if my parents are making about $50,000 a year? This si not going to effect me for a while cauz Im still in 9th, but I was just wondering cauz I really want to go to college out of state ¶ and preferably in NY or SC. Also, how much do average scolarships pay, and If you get a scholarship, can you still get AID and vice versa?</p>

<p>one last question:
Can someone tell me about how much pharmacists make coming out of college, and how much dentists make coming out of college?</p>

<p>If becoming a dentist or pharmacist is similar to becoming a physician then you won’t really be making money until you’re about 30.</p>

<p>General Practitioner’s average 175k, but you’d have to establish a patient base, buy a practice, etc. whatever first.</p>

<p>If you want to specialize(which requires a 2-6 year residency, depending on the specialty, after 4 years of dental school), average close to 300k. I think oral surgery(4-6 year residency) and endodontics(3 year residency) are the most lucrative specialties, as their averages approach 500k annually.</p>
