How much can first semester of senior year raise my overall gpa???

probably have 4 or 5 As with a scheduale of 6 courses with 3 AP courses.

thank u so much…

senior first semester grades are not used in ur overall gpa, but for class rank. if u think ull have a etter chance at getting into college with 1st semester gardes, it wont matter cuz well uve already submitted ur gpa and transcript. senior 1st semester grades are just for colleges to see how ur doing so far and for ur school to calculate ur class rank

It is impossible to say as we don’t know your current grades, number of hours, grading scale at your school etc. It is math. I am sure you can work it out.

Calculate it out. Each semester/course is 0.5 credits. You’ve taken 3 whole years already, so 18 total credits. You’ve got 3 credits from first semester. If your GPA was a 0.0, it could go to a a 12/21 UW or 13.5/21 W, or ~ 0.5. That’s the absolute biggest boost you could get. If you were at a 4.0/5.0, you’d have no boost.

To calculate: prior to senior year, you had a …/18. Now you have a …/21 (if you always took 6 classes/semester).

^^^Not all schools do it the same. Our state counts a semester course as a full credit. And each school sets it’s own weighting for any AP classes. Most schools in the state have AP on a 5 point scale. Our local high school just adds .03 to the GPA for each AP class.

Calculate it using your school’s system. Every school is different in how (if) they use semester grades in calculating, the weight they give to IB/AP/honors classes, etc so we can’t do it for you.
