How much can I leave blank on each Section

How much can I leave blank for each section if I want a 550 for math, reading, and writing each?? How much can I leave blank for each section if I want a 600 for math, reading, and writing each?? And how about 650 for math, reading, and writing each, then how much can I leave blank for each section??

If you have a PR “11 Practice Tests for the SAT” (or something like that) you can estimate your scaled 200-800 score based on your raw score.

http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

Every test is scaled a bit differently. On the May 2012 test if you omitted 21 math questions (and got the others correct) you would have received a 550. Omitting 15 would have given you a 600, and omitting 10 would have given you a 600.

The corresponding numbers for Critical Reading are 27, 20 and 14.

DrSteve how about the one coming up in October, the October 2012???

The SAT is curved AFTER it is administered. You should consult your local psychic for the answer to this question.

But seriously the numbers should be fairly close to what I gave you. Use this information for pacing yourself properly during the test.
