How much contact is "too much" contact?

I have been in contact with my regional rep, and I have had back and forth email q’s and a’s that is about 20 messages total with q and a. Is this way too much? Could they reject me for this? I have just been asking questions regarding problems with my uchicago account at first, then I sent him a supplementary thing and an extra activities sheet, and a question about the alumni interview. Then I asked him if they would take my Feb 2011 ACT. Is this “pestering” or is it fine? I am done contacting.

Wow, at first I thought you meant like touching. >__>

I doubt your rep will contact the admissions office and tell them not to admit you because you ask too many questions.

^ I thought the same thing. I was like this kid is a shoo in having sex with the regional rep is never a bad idea.

I also thought that this would be a carefully wrought and somewhat disguised monologue about human contact with admissions officers. How disappointing! :)

As long as it isn’t meaningless stuff, you should be okay.

I’m lol’ing at stanford’s comment

ha @ everyone else’s comments.

But seriously, I think you should be fine unless you were rude at all, which I’m sure you weren’t. Although you might have overdone it a little, but not enough to get you denied. Your application will speak for itself.

If they were legit questions and not “sucking up” questions, you should be fine. When I contacted my regional rep, we even got around to talking about football.

There’s no such thing as too much contact ;)

How do you find your regional representative?
