The SATs are a little over two weeks away now. (Yikes!)

Where were you at (■■■■, it’s OK to use “at” here!!) when you started, and where are you now? How’d you get there? Did you read Dickens or the NY Times? Barron’s 2400 or Princeton Review (obvious )?

For me, I was scoring about 1950 when I started two months ago. I’m fluctuating between 2250-2350 right now. I’m strongest at Math, then WR MCQs, then CR, and finally essays. Improved vocabulary by combination of flashcards, CR practice, Barron’s vocab lists.

For the essay, I read Great Expectations and the Scarlet Letter (for examples).

-_- lol you’re getting 2300s and yikes sat should be the least you should be worried about right now lol. I, on the other hand, need quite a bit more improvement. Sophomore psat = 150~, 1st sat = 1810, practice tests now = 1950s (1850s-2050s). But I really need to maintain a solid 2000 mark before the next sat T.T.

*ps I read Dr. Seuss’s Cat in the Hat. Contains a lot of sat vocabs

i started with 1430(pffft gay) - M 600, Cr 420, W 410
May SAT - M 710, Cr 550, W 540 = 1800 (still lower than i expected,i was expecting 1900ish, this is the prob with using non cb materials, scores sucked, dream broke =S)
Studied the whole summer, till now, and used all CB materials, I am averaging 2070ish
Took these tests consecutively… every saturday
1st QAS - Jan 06
Cr 610
M 760
W 600
Total: 1970

2nd QAS - may 06
CR 610
M 760
W 710
Total: 2080

3rd QAS
CR 650
M 750
W 690
Total: 2090

4th QAS
CR 680
W 680(-5)
M: 780
Total: 2140

=O aiming for 2200 in OCT. i hope i get it.

I went from an 1850 in may to a 1940 in june… not much an improvement but I only had a month in between. I’m definately hoping for a 2050 plus in october.

i got a 1490 on a practice exam on march. this is the first one im going to take so im hoping for at least a 1800+ (i havent done so much studying but im getting to it. thank god for a break from now till the SAT date haha)
