So I will be applying to a local college next year. I been working at the college for a little while now. I can have 2~3 letters of recommendations from 1 or 2 full-time time professors and another one from a head of a university lab. It is a top 10 public university and I was wondering how much of an impact will it have?

The recommendations will be great, I assume that since I am on pretty good terms with the professors there. I was an intern there for almost a year and did a lot of things.

So on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the greatest, how much of impact will these letters of recommendation help?
If I applied right now, I would be on the lower 25% for my SAT score and mid range for the GPA.

Thanks.
