how much do I need to prepare annually

<p>for my kit to study in U of C as an international student ( for Econ)? </p>

<p>According to USnews, for UofC in year 2007, tuition is estimated US34000, and 10600 for room/board. </p>

<p>– can I safely say 50K a year is sufficient ( for a standand ife in Uof C) ?
– does this $10600K cover meals ( fully or partially)?
– How about other expenses like books, CCA activities, local transportation , and room fee for school break when students have to move out from their dorm etc?
– can a student easily find a job in the compus for him/her to earn some morney for his/her allowance or something ? eapecially inthe first year?</p>

<p>I believe the estimate, which includes, books, fees, insurance, spending money, etc., puts the cost closer to $51,500. There are also travel expenses, to and from home or elsewhere to be considered.</p>
