I took the January 2017 test and I received my score today.
I got 1540 and a 6 5 6 for the essay.
I’m a little bit concerned because my essay score is a little on the low side.
How much do Redesigned SAT Essay scores matter?
My son just scored 1540, with a 6,4,7. I would bet $100 that if his essay had been typed it would score 5 points higher. His handwriting is so bad it is very difficult to read.
