Rank them?

SAT-II

AP scores [4 vs 5]

Teacher Recommendations

Interview

Hmmm is there anything else I should add to this list?
[I’m trying to think of little things that could tip you one way or another on the decision scale. Not GPA, SAT-I, etc lol]

*How much do they matter to Wharton
lol
._.

Thanks for school clarification…I mean, that really radically changes things. Over the in College they just check for a pulse.

SAT IIs
Recs
AP scores
Interview

Decent SAT II scores are necessary to even be considered. Recommendations give them a personal view of you, good/bad personality traits, maybe any special accomplishments. AP scores are kind of a bonus- good scores can legitimize good grades, but they don’t really matter. An interview, as it isn’t required, means very little. Maybe just screens out sociopaths.

jelly 88:

liked your note that over in the college they only check for pulse!!! Hope it’s not that BAD. However, with the new Admissions Dean from Columbia coming in, most people are expecting a push for higher stats etc. so I think CAS will gradually start getting more competitive. Just my 2 cents.

Are you a CAS or Wharton student?

Thanks!

I think jelly was sarcastic…

in engineering, they only check for pulse.
in nursing, they ask you to check your own pulse.
in wharton, you’re out if you have a pulse.

ah, technically, in engineering you have to build your pulse measuring device first
