How much do you know about laptop?

<p>Alrighty. I’ve been playing around at HP’s website, customizing a laptop and stuff like that. And apparently, it gives me an option of slapping in a 1 gig ATI radeon HD 4650 or 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 130M in there. I looked at the battery life chart and 12 cell battery gives me plenty battery life. But of course, this is based on regular, non-customized laptop. </p>

<p>What I want to know is, would upgrading into these graphics card harm the battery life?</p>

<p>… yeah I know it does, but by how much? By an hour at least? (give me an estimation)</p>

<p>If these cards would decrease my battery life down to anything below 3 hours, I’m not getting it :[</p>

<p>Those are both pretty high-powered graphics cards, I doubt you’ll need them unless you really want to play the latest games. I doubt they’d decrease battery life significantly, though, especially with a 12 cell battery.</p>
