How much does it cost to send scores?

I need to send 3 SAT II scores (from the same date) to a total of 8 schools. Assuming I didn’t use the 4 free score reports:

The Collegeboard website states that each report costs $11.25. Since all 3 scores are from the same date, do I only have to pay $11.25 x 8? Or is it $11.25 for sending each individual test, in which case I’d pay $11.25 x 3 x 8 in total?

Thank you!

All SAT1 and 2 are on one report.

It is $11.25 per school for all test scores selected.

Note that unless you select Score Choice, ALL your SATI and II scores will be sent. Use Score Choice if you only want to send the Subject Test Scores.

I can’t think of 8 schools that even require the SAT2s. Are you sure? You should double check what the colleges’ requirements are. Many have dropped SAT2 requirements.

@T26E4 there are definitely more than 8 scores that require SAT2 some even require it with ACT.

Thanks for the clarification, everyone!

And some of the schools I’m applying to require no SAT IIs, some require one, some two, some three.

Besides, I want to have options if I bomb one but do alright on the others

@T26E4 I meant to say “there are definitely more than 8 SCHOOLS that require SAT2 some even require it with ACT.”
The list below is from 2013. I know Harvard has changed the policy since then.

SCHOOLS THAT REQUIRE SUBMISSION OF SUBJECT TESTS REGARDLESS OF WHETHER APPLICANT TAKES SAT OR ACT:

California Institute of Technology
Carnegie Mellon University (PA) – exception: non-architecture majors, College of Fine
Arts (neither required nor recommended)
Cornell University (NY) – exception: applicants to Agriculture/Life Sciences and to
Industrial/Labor Relations (Subject Tests optional for these schools)
Dartmouth College (NH)
Franklin Olin College of Engineering (MA)
Harvard/Radcliffe Colleges (MA)
Harvey Mudd College (CA)
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Princeton University (NJ)
Webb Institute of Naval Architecture (NY) – note: Webb does not accept ACT
Williams College (MA)

SCHOOLS THAT WILL ACCEPT ACT IN LIEU OF BOTH SAT AND SUBJECT TESTS:

Amherst College (MA) Barnard College (NY)
Boston College (MA) Brown University (RI)
Bryn Mawr College (PA) – note: other testing options obtain—see college entry
Columbia University (NY) Duke University (NC)
Haverford College (PA) McGill University (PQ)
Pomona College (CA) Rice University (TX)
Swarthmore College (PA) – note: other testing options obtain—see college entry
Tufts University (MA) University of Pennsylvania
Vassar College (NY) Wellesley College (MA)
Wesleyan College (CT) Yale University (CT)

Thanks Billscho: I know that Yale has eliminated the SAT2 requirement as of this year too.

Like Yale, Princeton and Penn have also dropped the subject trest requirement and now recommend two. The Harvard guideline is scizophrenic. It states subject tests are “normally required” but then provides that anyone can choose not to provide them. Pomona, Swarthmore, Franklin Olin and BC have dropped any subject test requirement and no longer even recommend them but will consider them if provided. Last year, Bryn Mawr dropped all its testing requirements except internationals have to submit SAT or ACT. Wesleyan has gone test optional and no longer requires or recommends SAT, ACT or subject tests. As to Webb, it does now accept ACT but subject tests are required whether you submit SAT or ACT.

If your SAT IIs are strong and bolster your application, send them to all the schools and spend the $11.25 per school (assuming you don’t qualify for a fee waiver).
