How much does NYU spend on advertisements?

Just curious, but does anyone know how much NYU spends on print advertisements? It seems like I get a new, forty-page booklet from them every week, and I’ve received fancy posters, etc. periodically. The full informational/advertisement package they’ve sent me is way more elaborate than that of any other college, and I’d just be curious to know how much it cost them.

EDIT: It worked. As of yesterday, I am applying to NYU. Good job guys. :)

NYU is 25th in overall advertising spend at around $10 million per year.

@AoDay: Do you have a link to the complete ranking?

Take heed that NYU can easily cost up to $70,000 a year.

@AoDay Sounds preposterous :/

Sorry, little late, don’t really check CC much. The rankings are based on advertising industry databases (Ad Age, Kantar) and wouldn’t be available without a subscription. $10 million is actually a tiny amount considering NYU brings in $1.587 billion in revenue (2015). They don’t break out marketing specifically, but I expect it to actually be higher than the $10 million that the data providers estimate.
