<p>To prospective students: please don’t think too hard about your test scores. I did not get the Merit award (I think I only got one part of the 4 requirements), but I have been accepted and do very well here. On the flip side, simply qualifying for the award does NOT mean that you will be accepted, just that you’re on the right track. The admissions office here looks at more than grades, scores, gender, and ethnicity – they are small enough to actually take into account whether a student’s personality is a “fit” with the school.
