how much does relatives help getting into USC?

<p>i have 4 uncles and aunts that graduated from USC. 1 CPA 1 MBA
well i heard alot of things about how relatives being alumni can help…
i was wondering… how much can it help?</p>

<p>my college took me to a USC tour… the admission personel that took us around explained the requirements… and… yea she said the average acceptence GPA from community colleges is about 3.8 - 3.9</p>

<p>i barely have a 3.8 now… hoping probably family ties could help </p>

<p>you are a freshman or a transfer student? With a 3.8gpa as a transfer student you are looking good. Average gpa is more around a 3.5 if you want to be a competetive transfer… you really arent going to have to worry too much lol just keep up the hard work</p>

i m like… right at the bottom of their “average acceptance gpa” level…</p>
