<p>It depends on your multiple choice grades. Think of it as a chart: up one side run the possible essay grades, and across run the possible multiple choice grades. If you go to the spot that represents an essay/MC combination, there will be a score. So it really depends.</p>
<p>I will say, however, that it is possible to get an 800 WR without an 12 essay - because I did it. If you get all of the MC right, you can get about an 8 or above on the essay and still get an 800. (I got a 10.) </p>
<p>Overall, I would say to focus your efforts on the multiple choice, because the essays are subjective and therefore unpredictable.</p>
