<p>And, in grading the essay, how much does length of essay count? During the early submit phase, there were a couple of days that the essay limit was halved and I am wondering how many essays were shortened during that time, then not relengthened.</p>

<p>This is also my concern. My essay is 1300 words. Can I reduce it to 700 instead of 500 because 500 would be too short? How long are your essays? Thank you.</p>
<p>At Preview Tech day, they emphasized that you needed to follow the guidelines and proofread, proofread, proofread. I would think 515 might be accepted, but 700 is way too over the limit. They want to see if you can be clear and concise in getting your point across. Hope that helps!</p>
