<p>My school takes it very seriously…IF you’re stupid enough to get caught. Most kids won’t get caught unless you post pics on Facebook or your CSA (RA) actually sees you drinking.</p>
<p>If you get caught, you can get kicked out of housing (while still having to pay the fees for the rest of the year), and be banned from setting foot in the residential community for a year.</p>
<p>My school is pretty serious about it. Its often a 2 times you’re out for a year rule, sometimes they give 3 strikes but with like 100 hours of community service.</p>
<p>They don’t really care about drinking. If you’re stupid enough to get caught drinking in the dorms you have to go to some class the first couple times. If you get caught enough they kick you out but that hardly ever happens. They are serious about drugs though. They’ll kick you out of the dorms the first time they catch you with weed.</p>

<p>I am not a ■■■■■. I just don’t tolerate drinking or drugs. It’s one of the main reasons the colleges in this country are so messed up – because lots of kids do it and no one does anything about it (except me).</p>

<p>I don’t even know. I just read their student handbook online and all it says is that there will be “action taken against the student,” but doesn’t say what action. I suppose that leaves the door open for them to do whatever they want.</p>
<p>I hung out with people at U of Florida, but never went to classes. I stayed at the apartment with 2 other girls who were students. I stayed home and traded the stock market and made money while my friends were in class. I just paid the rent. 
But I did a lot of social activities with UF people, as long as there was no alcohol or drugs involved.</p>
<p>Leaira, maybe someone should call your parents and tell them you’re not going to classes, and let them deal with it. I have absolutely zero sympathy for anyone who suffers consequences for skipping classes. Kids skip class all the time after their hard-working parents pay their tuition. They must be spanked for their bad behavior. Don’t skip classes dammit. It’s WRONG.</p>
<p>Leaira, people come here for a reason (the vast majority have a question, which they either ask or find someone’s thread who asked) So far what you’ve done is essentially come here and made bunch contraversial posts. Is that why you came? You don’t currently go to college, aren’t looking at going to college, don’t have a child in or going to college, you didn’t even go to classes when you were in college years ago. </p>
