How much for laptop/tablet? Features?

I want to buy a laptop/tablet for mostly personal use: reading email, facebook, CC (of course! ), surfing the internet, playing games. My desktop will be moved to another room and reserved for things associated with my small business: notably, printing labels and inserts. I have both a B&W laser printer and a photo-quality inkjet for this purpose. I want to be able to plug my laptop/tablet into either of the printers, or print over a LAN, if necessary.

I am really confused over what processor speed is desirable, and what size drive. Not to mention budget. Any advice?

Email, CC, Facebook, playing games–those are things I use my tablet for.

not much is needed to do what you want. Buy a cheap one will be fine. If you have wireless router in the house, your “personal” computer can print either trough your desktop to a printer connected to the desktop or directly to a networked printer.

I have seen netbook as low as $200 on ebay.

I forgot to mention that I also want to be able to watch Netflix or Amazon streaming movies, and TV shows via Hulu, and have it run smoothly. The latter is something I have a problem with with my PC, despite being hard-wired to a broadband connection. How fast a processor do I need? I’m tired of lagging behind the curve! :)

I’m wonder where the threshold is between a tablet/netbook and a laptop. Why choose one over the other?

Again, not much is needed to watch netflex or the like either. Today’s netbook/notebook/tablet can handle those tasks if they can run Windows 7, Android or Apple OS.
