How much help is too much?

<p>If you’re reading someone else’s essay, where is the line between helpful feedback and unfair rewriting?</p>

<p>What kinds of suggestions are acceptable? What kinds are not?</p>

<p>Pointing out misspellings, poor diction, excess verbiage? Suggesting reorganizing the paragraphs? Suggesting substantial deletions?</p>

<p>Those all sounds like valid proofreading suggestions to me.</p>
