Hi all!
I’m a junior in the IB program and my schools is one of the most challenging top schools in my area in California.
I know NYU accepts IB and gives credit for it, but how much do they care for it?
For example, I’m in 6 IB classes (7 classes total), and 3 AP classes (our ap classes are combined with ib, so we have option of taking 2 tests).
however, the program is very challenging and I ended up getting 2 Cs in the first semester, although I’m aiming for straight As or few Bs next semester.

the Cs brought down my GPA …alot! weighted- about 3.5, unweighted about 3.2

for SATs i currently score 1850, but i’m hoping for 2000+ for my second time.
also, I only have a “family hook”… my cousin went to NYU Stern and graduated, and went to the same HS as me. im asian, so sadly i will be compared with the rest…but im thinking about ED I.

how do you think this will affect my chance of getting in? how do you think NYU look at IBs?
