How much leniency to you get for SATs as a low income and first generation student?

I heard a college advisor once say that college admission officers understand that students with families of low income tend to have lower SAT score. Does that mean that low-income and first gen students get more slack if they score a bit lower on the SAT’s, like around 2000? This would be in the context of top-tier schools.

Probably 2100s?

There is no formula with magic numbers. Schools that look at first gen and low income are holistic. They look at many aspects to see if a student should be selected.
