<p>So everything was received by the 24… still nothing. Am I freaking out for nothing? It’s only been like a week and a half but it seems as though other people have received their decision rapidly.</p>

<p>28 ACT, something like a 3.5 GPA… I thought my essays were very good, personally. I would label UIUC a match/reach for me… does this mean that it’ll take longer for a decision because I’m in the middle (I think I’m in the middle, at least)…?</p>

<p>Probably 2-4 more weeks … your in the middle but I don’t think you will take longer. I was in the middle and took 3 weeks, but it probably takes longer as the year goes on, not to mention Thanksgiving break.</p>

<p>The only people who get accepted within a week are the top 2%.</p>

<p>A 3.5 GPA by itself means nothing. Tell us what your class rank is and how good your high school is (is it a top school like WY or NCC?). Most people won’t be admitted automatically, so be prepared to wait as long as April for your decision.</p>

<p>It will be before April. I was accepted with a 3.5-3.6 gpa and no class rank and it took 3 weeks. I know I go to a good HS, but it is in california so I doubt it has much pull.</p>
