How much math can I take at Wharton ?

I really enjoy math, and it’s definitely my best subject at school, but I’m concerned about the career prospects of a math major. I was wondering how much math I would be able to take if I concentrate in Statistics, actuarial science, or some other concentration that involves math at Wharton. Since the concentration only accounts for four courses, I’m a little pessimistic, but I know that there are also a lot of electives that can be fulfilled with a wide range of courses. Would I be able to take enough math to possibly get a major/minor in math?
Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

Assuming you are already in, you can fill the science and tech electives with math classes, or at least the higher level math classes, so that is up to an additional 3 math classes you can take, which will fit right into the curriculum.

If you have a 5 in BC, you can use AP credit to satisfy the math requirement. Then you can fill 2 science&tech slots with math, and then 3 unrestricted elective slots with math. You should be able do a math minor(7 courses) without adding much to your overall graduation requirement.

Word of caution: Wharton has a lot of required courses, and they are tough classes. Most people fill up their general ed requirements with fluffy, easy classes. Doing a math minor means filling your free slots up with tough classes.
