How much money does the average BC grad makes after graduation?

I’m looking for that information, especially classified by major.

If someone could find it for me I’d appreciate it.

Dude, is this the primary criteria you are using to pick a college? Say it ain’t so.

The correct answer to your question is: As much as they can based on how hard they want to work at it after they graduate.

The other correct answer is: Bill Gates never graduated from anywhere – he dropped out of Harvard early in his junior year. Wow. Imagine how much he could have made if he GRADUATED!!

DukeofEarl…you are the best. I couldn’t have answered this guy better if I tried. Here’s to all three of your posts on each of the threads.

But there is a starting salary which isn’t determined by how hard they plan to work.

For CSOM it’s around 50K. I don’t know of any other schools putting out that information. For CSON and LSOE it’s whatever the standard starting salary is in nursing or education. For various A&S degrees there’s no reason to even gather that info since people go into so many different career fields. For example, BC History majors have gone into teaching for probably 35K, banking for 50K or more, or law school for 0. If you have any questions about specific career prospects I can do my best to answer, but for most majors such data does not exist. I can understand your concern with career prospects given the cost of BC, and I can assure you that the BC name and network will provide you a leg up in almost anything.

It really depends… Someone who graduates with a degree and enters the job field making $X amount a year will depend on their field. If someone graduates with a degree in education, they will most likely make less (or about the same or could even make more) than someone with a degree in Nursing or Business. Also you have to account for the fact some graduates do not even enter the job market, rather continue onto grad/med/law school. So your question is very vague to answer. Anyone who graduates with a college degree has a higher chance of a higher annual salary than someone with a HS diploma or a GED.

^^^ Theres no way to tell because certain jobs have certain ranges. If you wanted to take a very BROAD guess…i’d say about 60k depending on the area. People working in the city/suburb make more than working in a rural area due to cost of living.

I would say CSoM has the highest average job pay.
