<p>Ok, there is hope yet for you. No, my D did not clean her room during the college admissions process. In fact, her room looked like it had never been cleaned in YEARS. BUT…she is leaving for college in six days and I stipulated that before she leaves (she has basically two weeks off with no job now), that her room MUST be cleaned finally. It has been a major project the last few days but I can actually see the top of her desk, dresser and there is a floor! Too bad it is finally somewhat decent, now that she is not gonna get to live in it! I’m talking of D2, was not an issue with D1. God help D2’s roomies! Oh, the other stipulation was that she cleaned out the mudroom (yes, we have those here in VT) and she had lots of school stuff in it that kept getting dumped there…and there are lots of books that belong to our HS. Guess I will have to return there, but at least have no kids to drive there anymore! </p>
