How much of a reach?

Hey, chance me please!

SAT I-
V: 800
W: 720
M: 600

SAT IIs-
Literature: 760
US History: 710
Spanish: 630

ACT- 32

GPA- 3.7ish weighted (top 15%)

Classes- Almost the most difficult curriculum offered at my school, with mainly Honors classes except in math. I have 5 APs this year, and last year I had two (Spanish 4 I got a 3 on the test, and US History I got a 5).

Extracurriculars-
foreign exchange in South Africa for 6 months
Girl Scout Gold Award (my project was sending 300 lbs of donated school supplies to S.A.)
National Merit Commended Scholar
and I’m yearbook editor.

My essays so far have been pretty good, my teacher recs should be very good, and my counselors are pretty incompetent so who knows what they’ll do, lol.

I think my alumni interview went really well, my interviewer was really cool.

Thanks so much guys! =)

I don’t see why you would be much of a reach at all. Your GPA and test scores don’t necessarily put you over the top and guarantee you a spot, but they certainly don’t hurt your chances either. Just make your essays great, and I’m sure you have a superb chance.

Thank you!
I just submitted my app, anyone else want to chance me? =)

As long as you are attempting to get into A&S and not be a math major I would say you have a great shot. Overall SAt combo isn’t that bad at all. don’t be discouraged by being in the median of the applicant stats, there are over 500 people each year who have those stats and attend, let alone get in.
