Just curious as to how far people have progressed.

I’ve been wrapping up my Common App personal statement. For Yale, I’ve got a rough draft for the short responses, and still have some major playing to do with the supp. essay.

I’ve yet to do the Why Yale? question.

About the same place as ccuser18. Common App personal statement is still pretty rough.

Almost done :D, I just need the transcripts, LORs and Im checking (editing) again one of the essays…

What does it matter how much other people have done? I have friends who wrote their essays months in advance and didn’t get into their top choice schools, and then I have friends who got in everywhere and wrote their essays in the five days preceding the deadlines. It seriously doesn’t matter.

Oh, and the more you compare yourself to other people, the more stressed out you’ll become. The road to April 1 (or December 15, for some of you) is a very long one…

I have TONS of work left. (Tons= practically everything.)

Need transcripts, one letter of recommendation (the one is already in), essays/short takes, and simply fill out my activities.

I don’t like any of Yale’s essays… it seems like they’re designed to be hard to answer.

I’m planning on doing Yale SCEA and didnt even start the common app (didnt start on any of the essays, obviously)

Am I too late?

No! As long as your recommendations can be written in time, you still have time.

Question: My Yale SCEA app is completely finished and submitted apart from the teacher recommendations. Will I not get a confirmation e-mail until those letters are submitted, or should I be worried?

Thanks!

I need to finish the supplement, common app essay, and my activities section.

nothing yet! :s
