How much overlap is there between chemistry and biochemistry degrees?

<p>BS in Biochem can definitely get you a job that requires BS in chem. Not sure about the other way around but I think most times it can. It all depends on the employer</p>

<p>There is a decent amount of overlap, many Chem undergrads go to grad school for biochem and vice versa. I don’t know about jobs though, I agree with yg7s7, it most likely depends on the employer.</p>
