<p>So my brothers a Sophmore and he got a 202 on his psat. The thing is, he already took a prep class the year before and jumped from a 157 in freshman year. I know next years is out of 160 so do you think he’ll be able to break 140? Thanks</p>

<p>I started with a 187 my sophomore year. I just found out I got a 228. There’s always room for improvement.</p>
<p>I think because of the general nature of high school and high school courses, PSAT will (usually) improve with each year. My freshman year, I scored a 223. Last year, with no preparation whatsoever, I scored a 231, showing improvement simply because I was learning things in general high school math/english courses.</p>
