How much weight does UCLA put in senior year course load?

<p>How heavily does UCLA weigh senior year courses?</p>

<p>Currently my schedule for senior year should be as follows (school only allows 6 classes):
AP Language
AP Physics
AP Gov
AP Calc.
AP Psychology
Honors French III</p>

<p>But, my current AP Lit teacher asked me if I would be her TA next year. I like the thought of being a TA but I don’t want to do it if it means possibly not getting into UCLA.</p>

<p>So, will being a TA (and dropping AP Psych) hurt my chances?</p>

<p>Doubtful to hurt your chances if your overall application is strong. I was a TA for my AP Chemistry teacher in High School, but I was also taking a third year of independent study with her, so I think that balanced things out.</p>
