Greeting fellow CC members! Last week, at Virginia Boys State, I was selected to go to Boys Nation, one of only 98 in the country to do so. In addition to this, I also became a finalist in the Samsung Scholarship hosted by the American Legion. Only 98 rising seniors have this honor. Will these two things significantly help my application? I am an Eagle Scout and hold an internship at an electrical engineering firm so would these tow make a hug positive dent on my apps if I were to apply to a prestigious university?
Congrats on your accomplishments. I would consider those honors highly prestigious.
