How much will colleges care for getting 2 c's in 1 year long class?

Hello!
I was wondering what are the chances (just in general) of getting into an engineering school undergrad, not top 25 but maybe something around 30-50 ranked engineering schools, with 2 c’s during my entire high school career? I am now a Junior and I got 2 c’s in a year long elective course not relating to my planned engineering major. Thanks!

Note: I have a 4.2 GPA

Forgot to add this earlier, I’m not looking for an expert response just general opinions, past results etc.

My son 2016 was an auto admit to TAMU and into engineering. He is a national merit commended student and top 11% of his class of 692. He received 6 C’s over the course of his high school career.

Because you aren’t looking at the most selective schools, the C may give adcoms pause, but at most places it won’t kill you.
