So I’m applying through Questbridge ED to Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, and Penn.
I’m really worried about my first quarter grades as I have Straight As aside from a C in Calculus AB I know I can get some grace since I work a full time job, but will this jeopardize my chances?
My Senior Year Schedule:
AP Spanish
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus
AP Physics 1
English Honors 4
Dual Enrollment Microcomputers
AP US Government
This is a very tough course load to take on at the same time that you are doing a full time job. My guess is that admissions will probably think the same thing.
Do the best that you can and I wish you good luck.
Agree with the above. I just want to note that it will be important to keep the calculus grade at a C or higher – a D or F on the final report card can possibly lead to an officer of admission being rescinded. Good luck.
My final grade will probably be a B or even an A, but my its just my first quarter grade that I’m concerned with and how much that will bring me down.
