How much will not showing up today hurt my son?

My son, can’t believe it came down with fever late yesterday afternoon and is definitely sick, ran fever on and off all night…can’t believe the luck~
Anyway currently he is at 1970 with his SAT’s, he was going to take them one more time to try and get it over 2000, though his goal score had been 1900 which he surpassed.

He was going to take the SAT 1 test again today and is taking subject tests in Dec. How critical do you think it is that he is missing out on his last chance to raise his score over 2000? Is that extra 30 points a big deal? He will have his Dec. SAT 2 scores to show the schools by late Dec.

Your input to this would be appreciated, and good luck to all you testakers today!!

Also the kinds of schools he is applying to are
BU, GW, AMERICAN, BC, MIAMI, VILLANOVA, FORDHAM

30 points is not that big of a deal, and is within the margin of error (Most colleges consider kids within +/- 30 points to be comparable in score, and some add an additional +/-20 as a margin of error).

I wouldn’t worry about it- The College Board will just cancel the scores. If he ever gets asked about it on an interview or whatever, all he has to say is “I got an 10X degree fever the night before” and they’ll understand :D
