I got good scores on all my SATs except one subject test. How much do you think it will affect my chances as far as Ivies–Brown, Dartmouth, HYP, etc?

Composite SAT: 2380 (800 CR/780 M/800 W) (for Princeton, which doesn’t accept old test, that’s 760 CR)
Bio E–770
Lit–800
French–650

While i bet you posted this topic mostly to brag about your scores and get “oh youve got a great shot at ivy leagues, great test scores” responses that boost your confidence, everyone on this site does that so i wont single you out, but pretty sad how bad you guys need a forum for acceptance and a sense of accomplishment. With scores that high you should be smart enough to know that you can make it into any ivy league school with a respectable gpa and ECs. In response to the topic’s question, just dont report your french score. Many people dont even take sat IIs and there is no reason to report bad scores if you dont want to-or just retake it, most foreign language exams are about 95% vocabulary from my experiences, so just study your words for two weeks in advance and youll be fine.

SAT 1 is weighted more heavily in most cases than SAT II’s. If you have time I suggest taking it again. If you can get 700+ on subject tests you should be able to break 1300-1350/1600.

well the problem is i don’t have time to take it again. like, i took the old sat and got 1210/1600, and after taking new one twice i got 1230/1600. i mean, there is not much of a higher pattern.

Au contraire, youguysaresad (by the way, we all know that…^_^)…I post so people can tell me the opposite. Sort of reverse psychology. I usually do better work when people tell me how bad I’m doing; weird, huh?

too late to take a test now, i’m applying to UPenn, Hopkins, Villanova, Drexel, Lehigh, Ursinus, TCNJ, Drew, Rutgers, George Washington, Washington College, Univ of Rochester, SUNY Albany and Buffalo, Temple
