How much will these extracurriculars assist me? What should I elaborate on?

Allow me to be extremely rational when it comes to my high school credentials: They aren’t that great.

However, allow me to explain more about my question.
I’ve done a LOT of extracurricular activities and I wanted opinions on what to present more on my application over other things that I should pay less attention too.

1.) Rotary International - This isn’t just some school ‘react’ club. I helped the actual rotary club for the town next to me: I set up their events, presented to them about the 9/11 tsunami, and presented to a deaf school about pen pals with Japanese students of similar ages.

2.) Wrote a book on programming: I’m a really passionate and adept programmer, and I ended up writing a book on a programming language that doesn’t have too many resources behind it. The book is long and explains beginner to advanced programming paradigms

3.) Worked in a post office in London: When I visit London (family), I take the time to find some activity to do. I have worked during three summers at a post office there, helping manage the post and general store (Many post offices under Her Majesty tend to have a post section and a somewhat-like grocery section)

4.) Online Tutoring ROTC Students: I’m not specifically sure what the name of it was, but there were people from ROTC who wanted to get into some technical program for the military. I voluntarily tutored many of these students for free giving them good knowledge on how computers work.

5.) Set up 3D printers in a public library and taught the staff how to use them: In the town next door to mine, I set up some 3D printers there (sponsored by a transportation company) and basically instructed the staff on how the 3D printer is used and what can be made with it.

6.) Computer Club Representative & Teacher: I represent the computer club at new freshman and parent orientations and I help in teaching the kids in the club

There are more extracurricular activities such as sports and clubs; however, I wanted to first compare and contrast the importance of these different extracurriculars.

I want to attend a great Computer Science school and have a list, but I was wondering what I should first put and elaborate on while just merely ‘hinting’ at some other things.

tutoring, school club rep, setting up printers, helping out at events…all good and fairly standard. What stands out to me as unusual are 1) writing an entire book on programming and 2) the post office. The first reflects a level of passion for your subject that is unusual. What happened to the book? Did you self-publish? Is it available anywhere? Any feedback from any users? You might want to give this some real estate in your application as it pertains directly to your intended field of study. And the post office is just quirky and potentially fun and memorable if you handle it well. It’s the kind of experience that makes someone say, “I’d like to know more about what that was like.” I trust no one else submitting an application will have spent their summers doing anything vaguely similar.
