How much was your first laptop/desktop and what was it? Im looking at the macbook pro ad $2000 seems a bit much to me. I know you can get cheaper ones but just curious of how much other people spent on theirs and how much it cost.

You’re being over charged for the hardware you get.

Paid $1400 for my 13" Mid 2009 Macbook Pro base model with apple care. With all i’ve spent on college, its been the best use of money so far. Close to 2 years now of heavy usage with 0 issues.
