1. Send you applications late. Really late. Start sending them from 15th of Feb; send the last one on 1 March(For colleges with Deadline 1 January)

2. Don’t send PU Supplement essay. In place of that send your Why Penn Essay. Do remember to replace Penn with Princeton.

**3. ** Try your best to do as much typos as possible in your Essays.

4. Never give your Essay to your English teacher for checking.

5. End your Essays with “I am a sum of my experiments Blah Blah…”

6. Send a email to college mentioned “I really love (enter rival college’s name)”

7. Trash your Essays. Write Essays which are a million miles from the quote. Make as many grammatical errors as possible.

8. If you are a Int’l mention your EFC as 100$ so colleges think that you are non-serious.

9. Study at most a day for your ACT/SAT. Instead waste time on CC.

I did 4 and 9. My English teachers were notably unhelpful (e.g. “this is good”) so I just stopped bothering - and I still don’t understand how you can study for the SATs beyond doing a basic math review.

I also had a bit of 3, but that was less intentional. And I got in to college!

(PS: Why is essays capitalized? It’s not a proper noun. [/editor])

A friend of mine actually said her EFC is 300$…and was convinced the schools will flip out over this big amount of money…no kidding. Don’t you just love my poor country?
