<p>Want to take Italian next semester, need it for my major, 5th in the waitlist for the 10am section that I want. Want to know if I should just give it up and have a sure enrollment in the 9am section, or stick it out if a lot of people drop language classes during the adjustment period.</p>
<p>I would say yes alot of people drop langueage classes, however if you are not in the top 3 I think you chances are slim in getting in! All language departments hold 3 spots open for adjusting student into the proper level just incase some student enroll for the wrong class! So I would say you less than 70% chance of getting in! It really all depends on how strict the Italian Dept. Is I am taking my knowledge from the very strict Spanish and Portugese Dept.</p>
