<p>hiii. so i really want to go to Illinois, but I missed the EA deadline, so i will find out in two weeks with the RD/deferred applicants. I am a URM and I wonder how often admissions standards are bent for black/latino students.
The presidential award program at Illinois gives up to 4000 a year to URMs that are either in the top half of their class with a 24 ACT OR in the top 10% of their class with a 22+. I have a 27 ACT and I am in the top 25% of my class. Will I get into Illinois?
And im not applying anywhere super selective like business or engineering.</p>
