How often does Freshmen "Fall grade request" happen?

I didn’t like my biology mark, so I decided to retake it through online correspondents. However, this course, for lack of better words, is so stupid. It’s outline, info, organization, everything is just done so poorly and is way too time consuming. And today, I just found out USC won’t see these marks anyway, because my final exam is more than a month after their admission deadline.

The only way they would see my new bio mark is if they requested a “fall grade request” as cited here

“We may, however, request 7th semester grades (12th grade, fall semester) before making a final decision.”

Has anyone been requested to send one of these in? Or know anyone who had to?
I will only complete this course if it is something that is likely to happen. The mark I have now an A. So, for other universities it would get me in. USC is the most selective college I’m applying for.

Thanks :)

Almost everyone (unless accepted early w/ a scholarship) is asked to submit fall grades, and everyone is encouraged to do so whether they’re asked or not. My son was never asked but submitted them anyway (and perhaps that’s why they didn’t ask?).

There will eventually be a way to do this online. Hope that helps.

Depends on the individual case, they may or may not request it but you’re welcome to submit regardless.
