how often to long distance relationships work out?

if 2 people who barely knew each other (had only a few conversations in person), but they had huge crushes on each other, but now live in different countries, how likely is it to work out? would they move to the country their partner is in just to see each other?

what if one of them may move back to their home country in a few months. then how likely is it that they like each other enough to see each other again?

define “work out”…

Most relationships (not just LD) eventually end up in breakups, and everyone eventually dies. Doesn’t mean those relationships were failures or that all life is pointless.

by ‘work out’, i mean they’re both attracted to each other and like each other enough to move to the same country to see each other

The key words here are “barely knew each other.”

what if they got to know each other better by chatting online?

It’s not going to work out if you barely know this person and what you do know is filtered through facebook and AIM. Don’t go moving off to China or anything Mobiusfrost.

^thanks for bumping it and revealing that you have nothing better to do with your time

Hahahahahaha. Hahaha. Haha. Ha.

im not in a long distance relasinship with a boyfirend, but I have 3 best friends that live out of state from me for at least 4 years, and we still get along great! One lvies in WA, the others in GA, and NC. in terms fof friends, it could work.

Do you know the other person has a crush on u for sure? You better double check for one thing.
How serious of a crush? Like thinking of tht person every waking hour or just ?
