How popular is ISRC?

If I put it on my top 5 list, will I definitely get in?

Thanks! :)

Yes .

Just curious: Why is ISRC generally an unpopular choice? Thanks!

Why do people often "advise against" it? What sort of reputation does it have? THANKS!

Yes, you will most likely get into ISRC. My guess is that it's generally not as popular as other dorms because it has a reputation for being full of quiet, studious people who keep to themselves. As I mentioned in another thread, I'm not sure that this perception of it is warranted. It's also a bit smaller than some of the most popular dorms (about 100 people) and that's a turn-off for some people.

Let me put it this way: The dorm itself does not talk, nor does it hush talking. So when someone says a dorm is "quiet", they're being an idiot. The perceptions of the dorms self perpetuate, since there's at least 100% turnover every 4 years. So pick a dorm you think you'll like, and ignore the buzz. If every "social" kid decided to live in Slivka instead of Bobb, it'd be a lot different than its perceived.
