<p>I’m visiting PSU on the 21st, and I won’t commit until then. I realize the later I commit, the more liekley I’ll be put in supplementary housing, which I’d like to avoid. Anybody know how fast the regular dorms (esp Pollock) fill up? How likeley is it that I’ll be assigned supplementary housing?</p>
<p>Its difficult to tell you because it depends on a variety of things - mainly if the school is on target for enrollment or over their expectations. last year, housing was way over their heads because so many more people accepted their offers of admission than expected, so much so that housing was offering people cancelled housing contracts if they found an off campus apartment for the year. Ideally, the school doesn’t want to have supplemental housing for the reasons expressed on this board - it turns kids away. </p>
<p>You’re leaning on the supplemental side though by waiting until late April. </p>
